Stephanie Arthur Tannenbaum

Assistant Professor, Science & STEAM Methods at USF

Assistant Professor of instruction at the University of South Florida, teaching and researching in the fields of inclusive teacher education, inclusive ST=RE+AM methods instruction, Generative AI to support teaching and learning, and innovative community partnerships to support teacher preparation. With a Ph.D. in Teacher Education - Teaching and Learning, this work includes methods instructor, supervisor of preservice teacher final interns for all subject areas, coordinator of secondary early field experiences, Co-PI of the National Science Foundation USF Noyce $3million grant program.


Research interests include inclusive pedagogical practices, ST+RE+AM integration in K-12, generative A.I. to support teaching and learning, and innovative community partnerships for teacher preparation. Research in these areas has been presented at international, national, and state conferences. Grant-writing is critical in order to assist the momentum of this research to support the preparation of future teachers to be culturally responsive, creative, and collaborative, and to foster a love of learning and inquiry in their students. This work includes collaborating and researching with diverse and interdisciplinary teams, bringing evidence-based pedagogical approaches in mathematics, science, and arts integration to all research projects and initiatives.
